This medication is used for long-term maintenance therapy to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease, particularly erosive reflux esophagitis, and to prevent its recurrence. It also helps to alleviate symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease that occur without esophagitis. This drug is effective in treating and preventing recurrence of duodenal ulcers and peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. It is also used in the treatment of upper gastrointestinal symptoms (pain, discomfort, burning sensation) related to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug use, as well as for the treatment and prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers. It is applied to treatment for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and maintenance therapy after preventing rebleeding of gastric or duodenal ulcers. This drug helps in the treatment and symptom improvement of various gastrointestinal-related conditions.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to specific ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions.
