This medicinal product is used for gastrointestinal disorders such as gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is administered before anesthesia to prevent Mendelson's syndrome and is also used in the treatment of ulcers after surgery. This medicine is used to treat gastric or duodenal ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
