Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had allergic reactions to certain ingredients. Also, since it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not use this medication. If you have difficulty swallowing food, experience pain when swallowing, or have hematemesis or melena, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than three months, or if dizziness, cold sweat, or lightheadedness occurs, you should seek advice before taking this medication. If you experience chest pain or difficulty breathing, you should consult a professional before taking this medication as well. If sudden weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain occurs, you should immediately consult a physician. If you are taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or have a history of drug allergies, you must consult a professional. Patients with kidney or liver dysfunction, the elderly, and those with a history of acute porphyria should use caution. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a professional before taking this medication, as it can be transmitted through the placenta or breast milk. If you are taking other medications, it is important to consult a professional, as this medication may affect the absorption or metabolism of other drugs. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so those allergic to this ingredient should use caution. If symptoms worsen or unusual reactions occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be taken for more than 14 days, as various side effects such as hypersensitivity reactions, blood abnormalities, liver dysfunction, heart issues, gastrointestinal problems, and neurological issues may occur. Since symptoms of stomach cancer may be masked during use, it is suitable only for short-term use for symptom relief. There are no interactions with specific antibiotics, but if taken with sucralfate, a time gap should be maintained. In the case of overdose, appropriate treatment such as vomiting or gastric lavage is required, and it should not be taken with alcoholic beverages. If there are changes in physical condition before or after administration, a professional should be consulted. Elderly patients or those with chronic diseases may have an increased risk of pneumonia, so caution is needed. A false positive result may occur in urine tests, so care should be taken in interpreting test results.
