If oral administration is not possible, it is administered via a nasogastric tube (sonde). 2. Hemostasis during gastric biopsy bleeding: Usually administer 0.5-1.5g (10-30mL of this medication) endoscopically and orally administer 1.5g (30mL of this medication).

This medication helps to stop bleeding and improve subjective symptoms in gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers or erosive gastritis. Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

1. Hemostasis and improvement of subjective symptoms of gastric and duodenal ulcers and improvement of subjective symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease: Sodium Alginate is usually taken orally at 1-3g (20-60mL of this medication) 3-4 times a day on an empty stomach. If oral administration is not possible, it is administered via a nasogastric tube (sonde). 2. Precautions

This medication reacts with gastric acid and changes into a gel state. Therefore, it may not work properly in conditions of insufficient gastric acid.
