This medication is used to improve various symptoms related to constipation. It helps relieve constipation and the resulting symptoms such as reduced appetite, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestines, and hemorrhoids. Therefore, it effectively aids in alleviating constipation and the discomfort that accompanies it.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and over: Take 1-2 tablets after meals, 3 times a day. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust slowly based on the shape and state of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal diseases, such as appendicitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, or ulcerative colitis. Additionally, patients with bowel obstruction should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with an inherited disease that impairs lactose digestion should not take it. During treatment, antacids or milk should not be consumed, especially within 1 hour after taking these foods or medications. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should also consult a professional before using this medication. Those currently taking other medications, on a sodium-restricted diet, or with a personal or family history of rectal bleeding or bowel dysfunction should discuss with a doctor before taking this medication. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 203, so individuals allergic to this component should use caution. If a rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occurs during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a professional. If discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after more than one week of use, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration; children under 10 years old should not take this medication unless specifically needed. This medication should be swallowed whole and not chewed, and prolonged use can lead to tolerance and worsen constipation, so it should not be taken for more than a week. If a laxative is needed daily, the cause of the constipation must be investigated. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a sealed container away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place. To prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer to another container.
