Adult use

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area multiple times a day or coat it on a gauze and apply.

This medication should not be used on wounds or mucous membranes. If there is a bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal infection on the skin, it is advisable not to use it, as symptoms may worsen. Patients with purulent lesions or a hypersensitivity to this medication or with a history of such reactions should avoid its use. It should not be used in patients with perforation of the eardrum, as healing may be delayed. It should also be avoided in areas with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, and in cases of perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Use with caution in patients with a history of allergic reactions or a family history of allergies, those under medical treatment, and when used over extensive areas. Extra caution is needed for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, infants, and children. This medication contains propylene glycol, so patients allergic to this ingredient should be careful. Side effects may include skin infections or irritation, rash, itching, and redness; if these symptoms persist or worsen, use should be stopped and a doctor consulted. Prolonged or widespread use may lead to steroid side effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and acne, so caution is advised. In case of excessive use, inhibition of pituitary and adrenal function can occur, necessitating regular examinations. When using around the eyes, be cautious of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma risk; if symptoms such as blurred vision occur, immediate ophthalmologic consultation is required. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. When used in children, it should be administered under parental supervision, and caution should be exercised due to the sealing effect from diapers which may cause side effects. This medication should be used externally only, and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately. When using occlusive dressing, it must be done according to a physician's instructions, and the affected area should be kept clean to reduce the risk of infection. Keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Do not use expired products, and it is preferable not to transfer it to another container for quality maintenance.
