Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Shake well before use, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (site of disease) 1 to 3 times a day, and adjust according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as it may worsen symptoms. Patients allergic to this medication or its ingredients should also avoid use. It is not recommended for patients with perforated ear eczema as it may delay wound healing. In cases of skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, it is best not to use it as skin regeneration may be suppressed and healing delayed. It is preferable not to use it in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or non-inflammatory pruritus. Women during pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should use this medication cautiously, restricting it to the minimum dose and duration if necessary. Caution is particularly important for children under 2 years of age and the elderly, and it is crucial to consult with a physician. Skin infections may occur while using this medication, and if symptoms of infection arise, it should be used with antibiotics or antifungals, or its use should be discontinued. Various skin reactions such as skin irritation, itching, rash, and dryness may occur, so use should be stopped if symptoms develop. Prolonged or excessive use can lead to side effects such as skin thinning or dilation of blood vessels, necessitating a gradual reduction in dosage or a switch to another medication. Absorption into the system can affect hormonal function; therefore, regular testing is required when using occlusive dressings or for extensive use. Caution is needed when applying around the eyes as it may lead to glaucoma or cataracts; if vision changes occur, consult a physician immediately. This medication is generally not used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections and should be used in conjunction with appropriate antibacterial treatment if necessary. Treatment duration should typically be limited to within 7 days, and use should be stopped as soon as symptoms improve. Effects on driving or machinery operation are unknown, but impairment due to pharmacological action is not expected. Pregnant women or nursing mothers must only use this under a physician's supervision, with minimal dosage and duration, and avoid applying to the breast while nursing. Children and the elderly, due to delicate skin and potentially higher absorption of the drug, should avoid long-term use, and consult a physician if necessary. Overuse may lead to systemic side effects, so it should be managed appropriately under a physician's instructions. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should only be used for therapeutic purposes after makeup or shaving. Occlusive dressings must be used according to a physician's instructions and should not be used long-term on facial areas. Keep out of reach of children, and psoriasis patients should be cautious as prolonged large scale use may worsen skin condition.
