Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication due to reported harmful effects on the fetus in animal studies. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance or certain hereditary metabolic disorders should not take it. Women during menstruation or patients with a tendency to bleed should use this medication cautiously as the risk of bleeding may increase. Patients taking anticoagulants or platelet aggregation inhibitors should be cautious, as combined use may increase the risk of bleeding. Patients with severely impaired kidney function should use this medication carefully as it may affect its excretion. The elderly may have decreased liver and kidney function, leading to higher drug concentrations; therefore, they should start with a lower dose and be closely monitored. During the use of this medication, patients should be closely monitored for symptoms of bleeding, liver dysfunction, or blood abnormalities, and consult a doctor immediately if any abnormal symptoms occur. Regular blood tests are recommended during use to check for anomalies. This medication may increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulants or platelet inhibitors, so caution is needed when used together. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid this medication, and if unavoidable, it is advisable to stop breastfeeding. Safety in children has not been established; therefore, it is recommended not to use in pediatric patients.
