Improvement of gastric ulcers and gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, etc.)
This medication is used for the treatment of gastric ulcers and helps improve lesions such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling in the gastric mucosa. It works effectively even during acute exacerbations of acute gastritis and chronic gastritis, alleviating the inflammatory condition of the stomach. As a result, it is used to restore the health of the gastric mucosa and improve symptoms.
For revamipide, take 100 mg orally three times a day. However, for gastric ulcers, administration should be done in the morning, evening, and before bed.
This medication should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to its components. Severe allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur during the use of this medication; therefore, if symptoms appear, administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be received. Additionally, a decrease in white blood cell or platelet count may rarely occur, so it is important to regularly check your condition through blood tests. Since liver function may be impaired, if liver enzyme levels rise or jaundice symptoms appear, consult a doctor immediately. If skin hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, rashes, or itching occur, administration should be discontinued. This medication may cause neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, and paralysis; caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Within the gastrointestinal system, symptoms such as dry mouth, constipation, abdominal fullness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, belching, and taste disturbances may occur. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only use this medication when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Breastfeeding women are advised to avoid nursing as this medication may be transmitted through breast milk. The safety in children or infants has not been sufficiently established, so it should be administered to children with caution. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to side effects such as gastrointestinal symptoms due to decreased physiological function, so caution is needed. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container should be avoided as it can pose risks of accidents and degrade quality.
