Precautions

This medication should be used with caution if there are infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals on the skin, as it may worsen symptoms. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or have had hypersensitivity reactions should not use this medicine. Patients with eczema and perforated eardrums should avoid using this drug as it may delay wound healing. This medication should not be used on areas with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be delayed. Avoid using this medication if you have scalp infections, perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or pruritus around the anus and genitals. It is advisable not to use this medication in children under 24 months. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, breastfeeding women, children, the elderly, and those with liver dysfunction or diabetes should be more cautious when using this medication. This medication can exacerbate skin infections, so if there is an infected area, appropriate antibiotics or antifungals should be used first, and use should be stopped if the infection spreads. Prolonged or extensive use may result in various side effects such as acne, skin atrophy, vasodilation, and dermatitis, so caution is required. If this medication is used around the eyes, it may result in increased intraocular pressure or conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts, so care must be taken to avoid contact with the eyes. Use during pregnancy may affect the fetus, so it should only be used when absolutely necessary, for the smallest area and shortest duration. Breastfeeding women should not apply this medication directly to the nipples and breast area, as it may be transmitted to the infant through breast milk, and the usage duration and areas should be minimized. In children, systemic absorption is higher, leading to an increased risk of side effects, so it should be used only for a short duration if possible, and usage should be regularly evaluated. The elderly may experience side effects more easily, so observation by a physician is necessary for large doses or prolonged use. Excessive use of this medication may cause systemic side effects such as adrenal suppression or hypercortisolism, so the dose should be gradually reduced according to the doctor's instructions. When treating large areas or using occlusive dressings, the risk of infection increases, so the area should be cleaned before applying new dressings, and occlusive dressings should not be used without a doctor's guidance. After use, wash your hands thoroughly, do not use for purposes other than treatment, and keep out of reach of children. Additionally, do not transfer this medication to another container, and psoriasis patients should be cautious as skin symptoms may worsen with prolonged use.
