Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have allergic reactions to the active ingredient or components. When using this medication, neurological symptoms such as headache, taste disturbances, or dizziness may rarely occur. Symptoms such as punctate keratitis, keratitis, eye pain, dryness, redness, and itching may also arise, so caution is needed. Reports of dry nose, rhinitis, dry mouth, dermatitis, and fatigue have been rare. After using this medication, systemic symptoms such as increased sensitivity of the eyes, weakness, cold symptoms, nausea, pharyngitis, sinusitis, and elevated blood pressure may appear. Additionally, abnormalities in liver function or changes in blood test values, as well as urinary difficulties, have also been reported. This medication contains phosphates, which may rarely cause calcification of the cornea in patients with severe corneal damage, so caution is needed. This medication is a non-sedative antihistamine; it may temporarily blur vision after application, so one should wait until vision is clear before driving or operating machinery. Patients receiving long-term steroid treatment should gradually reduce the steroid dosage when using this medication, and it is recommended not to use it for long periods if ineffective. This medication contains ingredients that can discolor contact lenses and cause eye irritation, so lenses should not be worn for at least 15 minutes after application. Avoid wearing lenses if the eyes are red. During pregnancy, safety for the fetus has not been established, so it should be used cautiously according to a physician's instructions, and there should be caution during breastfeeding due to possible effects on the baby. It is advisable not to use in children under the age of 3, as safety and efficacy in that age group have not been confirmed. No special dosage adjustment is needed for the elderly. This medication should be used solely in the eyes and not for any other purposes. To prevent contamination during use, avoid direct contact of the container tip with the eye and ensure the container is tightly closed after use. When using other eye drops, use at least a 5-minute interval, and it is preferable to apply ointments last. Store this medication away from direct sunlight in a cool place, and keep it out of reach of children. If this medication is accidentally overdosed, immediate appropriate observation and treatment are required.
