This medication is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and erosive esophagitis, and it also supports long-term maintenance therapy to prevent recurrences in patients with esophagitis. It is also effective in the eradication of Helicobacter pylori as part of antibiotic combination therapy and in the treatment and prevention of recurrence of Helicobacter pylori positive peptic ulcers. It is utilized for the treatment and prevention of upper gastrointestinal symptoms and gastric and duodenal ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug use. It is applicable in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and for maintenance therapy following the prevention of rebleeding induced by intravenous injection. In summary, this drug is used to treat and prevent various inflammatory diseases and ulcers of the stomach and esophagus, as well as Helicobacter pylori infection.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to certain components or benzimidazoles, or those who have previously experienced such reactions.
