Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers (antacid effect), improvement of symptoms in gastritis
This medication helps neutralize stomach acid through its antacid effect in conditions such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis, alleviating symptoms such as heartburn and stomach pain caused by excessive stomach acid. It also improves uncomfortable symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and belching, supporting the patient's gastrointestinal health. It is used overall for the relief and treatment of various gastrointestinal symptoms.
For adults, take 1 g of Almagate per dose, 3 times a day, chewing after meals 30 minutes to 1 hour. An additional dose may be taken at bedtime if necessary.
Children aged 12 and older should take 1 g of Almagate per dose, 3 times a day, chewing after meals 30 minutes to 1 hour. An additional dose may be taken at bedtime if necessary.
This drug should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease, hemorrhoids, or excessive fluid retention should also avoid taking it. It is advisable not to use this medication during pregnancy toxemia or diarrhea, and in cases of gastrointestinal bleeding of unknown cause. It is important not to take this drug concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics. Since this medication can affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs, individuals taking other medications should consult with their doctor or pharmacist. Particular caution is needed for those with poor kidney function due to the risk of magnesium or aluminum accumulation in the body. Individuals with weak bodies, insufficient intake of phosphorus, or digestive absorption issues should consult a doctor as long-term use may impact bone health. Elderly individuals, those with symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before use. If constipation or diarrhea occurs or symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor. The prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and when giving to children, it should be administered under the supervision of a guardian. Store the medication out of reach of children, in its original container, avoiding direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place.
Constipation, diarrhea

This medication should not be taken together with tetracycline antibiotics. Consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (anti-inflammatory) analgesics, ulcer treatments, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron (Fe) salts, and salicylates.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air from entering, at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the effectiveness of the medication.
