Adult dose
For gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers: take 10 mg orally once a day; based on symptoms, it can be increased to 20 mg once daily. Treatment duration for gastric ulcers is up to 8 weeks, and for duodenal ulcers, it is up to 6 weeks. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: take 10 mg or 20 mg orally once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If not treated after 8 weeks, an additional 8 weeks of 10 mg or 20 mg can be taken once daily. For Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: the recommended initial dose for adults is 60 mg once daily. The dose can be adjusted up to 120 mg per day based on individual patient needs. Doses up to 100 mg can be given once a day; 120 mg must be taken as 60 mg twice a day. Patients with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome may have experience with this medication for up to one year. Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with liver dysfunction or cirrhosis, as adverse reactions related to hepatic encephalopathy have been reported.

This medication is used in the treatment of gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, and helps alleviate symptoms in patients with erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also applicable for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease. In patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori, it is used in conjunction with antibiotics to enhance therapeutic efficacy. It is also used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Overall, it is widely utilized for symptom improvement and treatment of various gastric and esophageal-related disorders.

How to take

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to patients who are allergic to specific ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions.
