Alfokan Tablet (Choline Alphoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg of choline alfoscerate orally 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to this drug or any of its components. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be taken by patients with a genetic problem that prevents them from digesting lactose. Nausea may occur when taking this medication, and if such symptoms arise, the dosage should be reduced. Additionally, caution is needed as there may be gastric inflammation or gastrointestinal issues. Psychologically, drowsiness, insomnia, irritability, or heightened sensitivity may occur, as well as seizures or excessive movements. This medication should be stored out of reach of children in a safe place. Furthermore, transferring the medication to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents or deteriorate the quality of the drug.
