Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to its components. During the intake of this drug, rare severe allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur; should symptoms appear, discontinue the medication immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Furthermore, side effects such as decreased white blood cells or platelets may occur, so it is important to regularly monitor blood counts. Since there may be liver function issues, discontinue use immediately if any symptoms of liver dysfunction appear along with liver function tests. Hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, rashes, or itching may occur on the skin, so medication should be stopped if these symptoms occur. Neurological symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, or paralysis may appear, so caution is needed when driving or operating machinery. Gastrointestinal symptoms like dry mouth, constipation, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal pain, burping, and taste disturbance may occur; consult healthcare professionals if these symptoms arise. If liver enzyme levels rise sharply or if fever and rash accompany, discontinue the drug and inform healthcare professionals immediately. Blood disorders such as thrombocytopenia and leukopenia may occur, so regular blood tests are required. Various side effects such as breast pain, gynecomastia, increased milk secretion, palpitations, fever, facial flushing, tongue paralysis, cough, dyspnea, hair loss, menstrual irregularities, renal dysfunction, edema, and pharyngeal foreign body sensation may rarely occur, so consult healthcare professionals if these symptoms appear. Women who are pregnant or potentially pregnant should only use this drug if the therapeutic benefits are deemed greater than the risks, as safety has not been established. This drug can be transmitted through breast milk, so breastfeeding women are advised to avoid breastfeeding while taking the medication. Safety in children, especially low birth weight infants or neonates, has not been sufficiently established; use with caution. Elderly patients have a similar incidence of adverse reactions compared to adults, but due to decreased physical function, they should be more vigilant regarding gastrointestinal symptoms and other side effects. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring to other containers should be avoided as it may cause degradation of quality or accidents.
