Precautions

This drug can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. It should not be administered to patients with a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medication or similar drugs, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and patients with severe kidney or liver disease or certain heart conditions. Patients with low sodium or fluid levels in the body may experience hypotension, so their condition should be carefully checked before administration, and blood pressure should be closely monitored during treatment. Patients with high potassium levels or those taking medications that can increase potassium levels should have their potassium levels frequently checked, and caution is advised in patients with impaired kidney function. If symptoms of angioedema occur, the use of this medication should be discontinued immediately, and it should not be reapplied. Patients with heart failure or myocardial infarction require careful monitoring due to the potential changes in kidney function or risk of hypotension associated with this drug. The dosage should be limited in patients with liver dysfunction, and caution should also be exercised in patients with acute myocardial infarction or certain valvular heart diseases. Caution is needed because dizziness or fatigue may occur when driving or operating machinery. When used with other antihypertensive medications, potassium-sparing diuretics, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), the risk of side effects may increase due to interactions, so medical advice should be followed. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should not use this medication, and breastfeeding women are also advised against taking it. The safety and efficacy in patients under 18 years of age have not been established, so it is not recommended for this age group. In case of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, dizziness, and increased heart rate may occur, and immediate medical attention should be sought for appropriate treatment. If any abnormal symptoms or discomfort occur during the use of this medication, immediate consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is recommended.
