This medication is used for corneal epitheliopathy caused by endogenous factors such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucocutaneous syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous factors such as surgery, drug-induced causes, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop each time, 5-6 times a day. Adjust as needed according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who are allergic to protein-based drugs or have hypersensitivity to any component of this drug. Symptoms such as itching or irritation of the eyes, redness, conjunctivitis, or corneal disorders may occur; if such symptoms arise, use should be stopped immediately and medical attention should be sought. Rarely, discharge or eye pain may occur, and if inflammation or dermatitis occurs on the eyelids, usage should be halted and appropriate treatment obtained. Increased adverse reactions may occur when used with steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, or glaucoma treatments, so caution is needed. This drug should not be used concurrently with other eye drops, and if it must be used together, it should be used 30 minutes after the other eye drops. This medication is for direct ocular use only, and care should be taken to prevent the tip of the container from contacting the eyelids or eyelashes to avoid contamination. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should not be applied to the eye and should be discarded, and any remaining medication or container should be discarded immediately after opening. Avoid communal use, store out of reach of children, and keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
