Relief of arthritis and musculoskeletal pain such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
This medication is effectively used for degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, acute gout, and dysmenorrhea. It also helps with bursitis, musculoskeletal sprains or bruises, post-operative pain management, migraines, and pain relief after tooth extraction. Overall, this drug is used to improve various joint and muscle pain and inflammatory conditions.
1. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis: Take 275-550 mg of naproxen sodium orally, twice a day (every 12 hours). 2. Acute gout: Administer an initial dose of 825 mg orally, then continue with 275 mg orally at 8-hour intervals until the attack resolves. 3. Skeletal muscle disorders, postoperative pain, pain after tooth extraction, dysmenorrhea, tendinitis, bursitis: Administer an initial dose of 550 mg orally.
Patients who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may also affect the cardiovascular system and increase the risk of serious cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Patients with existing cardiovascular diseases or risk factors should be particularly cautious and should consult medical personnel immediately if cardiovascular symptoms occur during use. This medication may cause serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so those with a history of gastrointestinal disease or the elderly should be more careful. If gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms are suspected during use, immediate treatment should be received, and the medication should be discontinued if necessary. Those with a history of peptic ulcer disease, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, heart failure, kidney disorders, severe hypertension, and hypersensitivity to this drug or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should not take this medication. Additionally, patients who have experienced allergic reactions to aspirin or certain genetic conditions should not use it. Patients with a history of peptic ulcer disease, blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney disease, hypertension, asthma, the elderly, etc., should use this medication cautiously and consult medical personnel before taking it. If any unusual symptoms such as allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver or kidney dysfunction, skin rashes, or respiratory distress occur during use, medication should be stopped immediately, and a doctor should be consulted. This drug should be taken at the minimum dose for the shortest possible period, and patients should undergo regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests if taken for an extended period. The risk of side effects may increase when combined with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or specific medications, so if any medications are currently being taken, this should be communicated to the healthcare professional. This medication should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the later stages, and women who may become pregnant should consult a doctor before taking it. During breastfeeding, this medication can be transmitted through breast milk and may affect the baby, so it is advisable to avoid taking it. It is not recommended to use this medication in children, especially infants under 2 years of age, as safety has not been established. The elderly are at higher risk of side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, so they should start with a lower dose and take it cautiously. Overdose may result in symptoms such as drowsiness and digestive disturbances, so adherence to prescribed dosages is crucial, and immediate medical attention should be sought if any unusual symptoms occur. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container may compromise its quality.

This medication should not be taken with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, naproxen derivatives, aspirin, and high doses of methotrexate. Avoid concurrent use with hydantoin-based antiepileptics, sulfonamides, sulfonylurea-type hypoglycemic agents, propranolol and other β-blockers, ACE inhibitors (such as captopril), loop diuretics and thiazide diuretics, probenecid, lithium, low-dose methotrexate, and coumarin-type anticoagulants (blood coagulation inhibitors).
This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture. It is advisable to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature.
