This medication is used to treat eye inflammation such as severe edema and congestion associated with acute non-infectious conjunctivitis and allergic keratitis. It is also effective for non-infectious inflammation of the anterior segment, for example, anterior uveitis, scleritis, and episcleritis. It helps relieve inflammation that may occur after surgeries such as strabismus surgery, cataract surgery, and glaucoma surgery. It reduces inflammation in these conditions to restore eye health and improve symptoms. Thus, this medication is widely used for the treatment of various eye inflammations.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times daily. For the first 24-48 hours, 1 drop may be instilled hourly.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to specific components. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use this medication. It should be avoided by individuals with eye infections or eye diseases such as glaucoma and dry eye. It should also not be used if there is corneal damage or viral, bacterial, or fungal infections. Particularly, this medication should not be used in infants under 2 years old. Patients with circulatory issues or metabolic disorders should use this medication with caution. During treatment, it is advisable to avoid wearing soft contact lenses and to avoid prolonged use. If used for more than 2-3 days, intraocular pressure and signs of infection should be regularly monitored. This medication may mask or exacerbate symptoms of eye infections, so caution is required.
