This medication improves symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux, as well as indigestion symptoms resulting from the reflux of stomach contents. It is especially used after meals, during pregnancy, and in conjunction with gastroesophageal reflux disease. This helps alleviate discomfort due to gastroesophageal reflux and enhances the patient's quality of life.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years old should take 10 to 20 mL each time, 4 times a day (after meals and before bedtime).

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with an allergic reaction to this medication or its components. Patients with congestive heart failure or impaired kidney function who must strictly limit sodium intake should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it contains a considerable amount of sodium. Additionally, patients with hypercalcemia or diseases involving calcium deposition in the kidneys, and those who have recurrent calcium-containing kidney stones should also consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as it contains Calcium Carbonate. Children under 12 years of age are not recommended to take this medication without a physician's instructions. If symptoms such as itching, bronchospasm, or severe allergic reactions occur after taking this medication, stop use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. Be careful not to exceed the recommended dosage, as overdose may cause side effects such as alkalosis, hypercalcemia, and constipation. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for more than 7 days, it is necessary to consult a healthcare professional immediately. In case of overdose, seek prompt medical treatment, and some patients may experience abdominal distension. This medication contains Calcium Carbonate, an antacid ingredient, and should be taken at least 2 hours apart from other medications to prevent drug interactions. Pregnant women can take this medication as no special adverse reactions have been reported for mothers, fetuses, or newborns. Store this medication out of reach of children and avoid transferring it to another container from the original container, as this may lead to misuse or degradation of the medication quality. Use all of it within 6 months after opening, and pay attention to storage conditions.
