While taking this medication, do not take it concurrently with medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, and antacids. Children under 1 year old, patients currently receiving treatment from a doctor, children exposed to a lot of sunlight and receiving normal meals, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, preterm infants, and infants should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Particularly, care should be taken as Vitamin D can be transmitted through breast milk to newborns, potentially causing hypercalcemia. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, facial flushing, irregular heartbeat, or skin rash occur while taking this medication, it should be stopped immediately and consulted with a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, overdose may lead to gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema; long-term use may result in hypercalcemia or calculi, thus caution is needed. If symptoms do not improve after about a month of use, it is advisable to consult a professional. This medication should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and if given to children, supervision by a guardian is required. It is recommended to avoid tannin-containing teas such as green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, in a dry and cool place, tightly sealed.
