Vitamin D is particularly important to supplement during pregnancy, lactation, growth stages, and old age. The Vitamin D (cholecalciferol) contained in this medication helps maintain healthy bone and dental development and is effective in preventing rickets. Therefore, Vitamin D is used to prevent bone and dental developmental disorders and rickets.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 tablet once a day.

Child dose

Take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with high calcium levels in their blood, sarcoidosis, or renal disease. Additionally, those who have an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its ingredients should not take it. Children under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, and those with severe renal failure symptoms must also avoid this medication. During the course of taking this medication, specific medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids should not be taken together. Children under 1 year old, patients under medical treatment, children who receive ample sunlight and a normal diet, pregnant or nursing women, preterm infants, patients with cardiovascular diseases, renal impairment, hypoproteinemia, patients receiving cardiac glycosides, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a physician, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medication. If nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hypotension, flushing, irregular heartbeat, skin rash, or similar symptoms occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, overdose may lead to gastrointestinal symptoms, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, while long-term use may result in hypercalcemia and nephrolithiasis. If overdose occurs or symptoms do not improve after taking for one month, discontinue and consult a professional immediately. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when given to a child, supervision by a guardian is necessary. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, during the course of treatment. Store this medication in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering, and keep it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius. This way, the medication's efficacy can be maintained for a long time and degradation can be prevented.
