Firstly, patients who have had an allergy to this drug or its components, patients with orthostatic hypotension that causes blood pressure to drop suddenly, patients with severely impaired liver function, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and patients with genetic problems such as lactose intolerance should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with severely impaired kidney function, elderly patients, and patients currently taking certain antihypertensives, alpha-1 blockers, or PDE5 inhibitors should use this medication with caution. Especially when used with alpha-1 blockers, there is a risk of significant blood pressure drop, so careful judgment is necessary. During therapy with this medication, various side effects may occur, including dizziness, low blood pressure, heart rhythm abnormalities, allergic reactions, dyspepsia, and liver dysfunction, so it is important to observe closely. If any abnormal symptoms occur, consult a doctor immediately. Since this medication can lower blood pressure, care should be taken to avoid overdose, and one should change positions slowly to prevent dizziness upon standing. Furthermore, this medication is not a treatment for the underlying condition but is intended for symptom relief, so if it has no effect, other treatment methods should be considered. Be cautious when driving or working at heights as dizziness may cause accidents. If there has been a history of allergy to sulfa drugs, special caution is necessary when taking this medication. This medication can interact with other drugs, so when taking antihypertensives, PDE5 inhibitors, certain antibiotics or antifungals, and some cardiac medications, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Pregnant women and children under 18 should ideally not use this medication, and elderly patients should start at a lower dose considering their kidney function. When taking, the medication should be removed from the package and swallowed whole; it should not be crushed or chewed. Particularly, orodispersible tablets should be placed on the tongue, allowed to dissolve with saliva, and then swallowed. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, and care should be taken not to transfer it to another container as this may affect its quality.
