This medication is used to treat not only hypertension but also myocardial ischemia caused by stable angina due to fixed occlusion of the coronary arteries or variant angina due to vascular spasms. Additionally, it reduces the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients without heart failure or with a left ventricular ejection fraction of more than 40%, recently diagnosed with coronary artery disease through angiography, and decreases the risks associated with coronary artery revascularization. Therefore, this medication helps alleviate myocardial ischemia and prevent cardiovascular complications, thereby improving heart health.
