This medicine is used for the treatment of epithelial defects of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, mucocutaneous syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, or due to postoperative complications, drug-related side effects, trauma, or contact lens use.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

For 0.1% and 0.3% preparations, instill 1 drop 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust the dosage as necessary based on symptoms. Usually, the 0.1% preparation is used, but if it is insufficient for severe cases, the 0.3% preparation is administered.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by individuals allergic to protein-based drugs or those with hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Symptoms such as itching or irritation of the eyes, redness, and conjunctivitis may occur, and rarely, eye discharge or pain may develop. If these symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate measures. Additionally, allergic reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may appear, so if these symptoms occur, stop using and receive treatment. Be cautious as the likelihood of side effects may increase when using this medicine along with steroids, dry eye treatments, antibiotics, glaucoma treatments, antihistamines, cataract treatments, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This product should not be used concurrently with other eye drops; if other eye drops are necessary, they should be administered at least 30 minutes apart. For topical application only, and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelid or eyelashes. Otherwise, the medication may become contaminated and harmful to the eyes. The preservative benzalkonium chloride in this medicine can adsorb onto soft contact lenses, so it should not be used while wearing lenses, and lenses should not be worn for at least 15 minutes after administration. It is advisable not to share this medication to avoid contamination. Store out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool place. Also, do not transfer the medication to another container; it should be kept in the original container to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the drug.
