Improvement of gastroesophageal reflux (acid reflux, heartburn) symptoms
This medication helps improve symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn, which occur when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus. It is also effective for symptoms caused by regurgitation of stomach contents, for instance, during meals or pregnancy, and in situations accompanying gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). By alleviating these symptoms, it helps make the patient's daily life more comfortable.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10 to 20 mL four times a day (after meals and before bedtime).
Do not take this medicine if you have an allergic reaction to this medicine or any of its ingredients. Patients with heart or kidney issues that require sodium intake restriction should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine, as it contains a high amount of sodium. Patients with elevated calcium levels in the blood or calcium deposits in the kidneys, as well as those with recurring calcium stones, should also consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine, as it contains calcium. Children under 12 years old should avoid taking this medicine unless specifically directed. If you experience symptoms such as itching, difficulty breathing, or allergic reactions while taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Excessive calcium intake may lead to abnormally high calcium levels in the blood or gastrointestinal issues, such as constipation, so it is crucial to adhere to the recommended dosage. If symptoms do not improve after one week of treatment, consult a doctor. Taking this medicine in excessive amounts can lead to side effects such as abdominal bloating, so if overdose occurs, seek medical attention immediately. When taking this medicine with other medications, it is recommended to take them at least 2 hours apart, as this medicine acts as an antacid. For pregnant women, while no abnormal reactions have been reported for the mother or fetus, it is safest to consult a professional before taking this medicine. Store this medicine out of reach of children and keep it in its original container for safety. Once opened, use it within 6 months to maintain the effectiveness and safety of the medication.
