This medication is used to treat conditions associated with inadequate blood supply to the heart, including hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina due to vasospasm. It is also effective in reducing the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients recently diagnosed with coronary artery disease via angiography, who do not have heart failure and have normal cardiac output, and in reducing risks associated with coronary artery revascularization. In this way, it helps manage the major symptoms and complications of cardiovascular diseases to improve patients' health status.
