How to apply

Adult use

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1-2 times a day and adjust according to the symptoms. As it contains a potent corticosteroid, continuous treatment should not exceed 2 weeks or 50g (liquid form 50mL) per week.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with certain skin infections. Use should be avoided in patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or in cases of tympanic membrane perforation, ulcers, or severe burns. It is also not recommended for those with scalp infections, acne, or genital itching. Use is prohibited for infants under 24 months. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, the elderly, and patients with impaired liver function or diabetes should use this drug cautiously. Additionally, caution is necessary if allergic to any ingredients contained in this drug. When using this drug, it must be stopped immediately if infection symptoms appear, as it may worsen skin infections and appropriate treatment should be sought. The long-term or extensive use may lead to side effects such as skin atrophy, rash, or itching due to steroids; therefore, attention is required. Special care should be taken when applying around the eyes as it can cause increased intraocular pressure or eye-related side effects like glaucoma or cataracts. In principle, this drug is not used for eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections; however, if unavoidable, it is best to use it together with antibiotics. Locally applied steroids can be absorbed systemically and affect hormonal functions, thus requiring regular examinations if used extensively over long periods. It is advisable to stop using it as soon as improvement is seen, especially in thin-skinned areas such as the face, neck, and genitals. Pregnant women should avoid using this drug extensively or for long periods; if necessary, it should only be used in the minimum possible range and duration. Breastfeeding women should consider that this drug may be transferred to breast milk, thus it should not be applied directly to the nipples or breast area, and only used in the minimum area as needed. Children are more sensitive to side effects of this drug than adults, thus long-term use should be avoided and if used, their condition should be regularly monitored according to a doctor's instructions. Elderly patients have a higher risk of side effects, thus careful observation is required during extensive or prolonged use. With excessive use, there is a risk of adrenal function suppression, so dosage should be gradually reduced or discontinued according to a doctor's guidance. Extra care should be taken when applying near the eyes to avoid contact, and it should not be used for non-treatment purposes. If the treatment area is extensive, it is advisable not to use it on more than 20% of the body surface area and hands must be washed thoroughly after use. Keep out of the reach of children, and store in the original container to prevent misuse or quality degradation.
