How to take

Adult dose

1 tablet per dose, taken 3 times a day after meals.

Child dose

1 tablet per dose, taken 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions to any of its ingredients. Particularly, it should not be given to babies under 3 months old or patients with hereditary disorders that impair lactose digestion. It should not be taken simultaneously with the medication Levodopa. Patients under 1 year old, those currently under treatment, patients with hyperoxaluria, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, and gout or kidney stone patients must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Additionally, individuals allergic to the dye Yellow No. 5 should exercise caution. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or abdominal bloating occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and prolonged high doses of pyridoxine can cause neurological disturbances. High doses may also cause peptic ulcers, impaired glucose tolerance, hyperuricemia, and liver damage, so caution is advised. If overdose occurs or symptoms do not improve after one month of use, consult a specialist. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and supervision by a guardian is necessary when given to children. Furthermore, this medication can affect blood glucose measurements during urinalysis and may change urine color to yellow, influencing test results. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry, and sealed place to maintain quality. It is important not to transfer the medication to another container.
