Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers (antacid effect), improvement of gastritis symptoms
This medication helps in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis, alleviating heartburn and belching symptoms caused by excessive stomach acid. It is also effective in improving gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Overall, it is used to relieve gastrointestinal-related symptoms and aid in digestion.
As Almagate, take 1 g per dose, 3 times a day, chewed and taken orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
Children aged 12 years and older should take 1 g of Almagate per dose, 3 times a day, chewed and taken orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
This medication should not be taken by individuals who have an allergic reaction to this medication or its components. Patients with Alzheimer's disease or hemorrhoids should also avoid using this medication. Individuals with body swelling or pregnancy-related hypertension should avoid this medication, and it should be avoided in case of diarrhea. Additionally, patients with unexplained gastrointestinal bleeding should not take this medication. It is recommended not to take this medication concurrently with tetracycline antibiotics. This medication may affect the absorption or excretion of other drugs; therefore, individuals taking other medications must consult a doctor or pharmacist. Particularly, those with kidney function problems, weakened bodies, or those on low-phosphorus diets should exercise caution. Elderly individuals, those with gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, and pregnant or nursing women should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If constipation or diarrhea occurs during use or if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. The prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed, and supervision is required when children take this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in its original container, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place.

Do not take this medication together with tetracycline antibiotics. Consult a doctor or pharmacist when taking it alongside non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ulcer medications, digitalis preparations, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisolone, penicillin, quinolones, iron preparations, or salicylates.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air and moisture from entering. It is best to maintain storage temperatures between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
