This medication is used to relieve pain and muscle tension associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as lumbar pain like low back pain, shoulder-hand syndrome appearing in the neck, shoulder, and arms, inflammation around the shoulder joint, and degenerative spinal disease.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults: Administer Chlorzoxazone 200-400 mg orally 3-4 times a day. Adjust dosage as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication can cause severe liver damage, so if symptoms indicating liver dysfunction occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or do not have tolerance should not use it. It contains lactose, so individuals with certain genetic lactose degradation disorders should not take it. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, and those with a history of drug allergies should use this medication with caution. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash or itching occur, discontinue use immediately. Neurological side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, and decreased concentration may occur, and if symptoms are severe, the dosage should be reduced or discontinued.
