This medication helps improve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux such as acid reflux and heartburn. It particularly alleviates discomfort caused by acid reflux and dyspeptic symptoms related to the regurgitation of stomach contents. It is also effective for symptoms that may occur after meals or during pregnancy, as well as symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease. This medication is used to improve such gastroesophageal reflux symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10 to 20 mL once, 4 times a day (after meals and before bedtime).

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with known allergic reactions to this product or its components. Patients who need to strictly limit sodium intake due to conditions such as congestive heart failure or renal impairment should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. Moreover, patients with high blood calcium levels, calcium deposits in the kidneys, or recurrent calcium stones should also consult a specialist before using this medication. For children under 12 years of age, it is recommended not to use this medication without special instructions from a physician. If any symptoms such as itching, bronchoconstriction, or severe allergic reactions occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Excessive intake of calcium carbonate included in this medication may lead to side effects such as metabolic alkalosis, hypercalcemia, milk-alkali syndrome, and constipation, so care should be taken not to exceed the recommended dosage. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for more than 7 days, it is important to consult a physician. In case of overdose, seek immediate treatment at a hospital, as some patients may experience abdominal bloating.
