Cardinase 50 Units (Calidino-Genase)

Adult dose

Administer 30~150 I.U. orally per day in 3 divided doses. The dose may be adjusted according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients with bleeding, such as immediately after a cerebral hemorrhage. This medication contains lactose, so patients with a genetic issue unable to digest lactose should not take this medicine. Some patients may experience skin rashes or itching as an allergic reaction, and if such symptoms occur, the medication should be stopped immediately. Rarely, symptoms of rapid heartbeat may occur, requiring caution. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, appetite loss, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or constipation may occasionally occur. Additionally, sensations such as warmth, headache, heaviness in the head, drowsiness, and fatigue may rarely occur; if symptoms persist, consult a healthcare professional. Especially in older adults, as physical functions may be reduced, the dosage of this medication should be reduced or used cautiously.
