This medication is used for symptomatic relief of painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal disorders, such as shoulder-hand syndrome, periartritis of the shoulder joint, and low back pain. It is also effective for treating spastic paralysis caused by neurological disorders, helping to alleviate the sequelae of various neurological diseases such as cerebrovascular disorders, spastic spinal paralysis, and cerebral palsy. This medication focuses on relieving excessive muscle tension to reduce pain and discomfort in patients. Therefore, it is widely used to improve muscle tightness and pain caused by musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.

How to take

Adult dose

Eperisone Hydrochloride: take 50 mg orally three times a day after meals. Adjust as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. First, those who have had an allergic reaction to this medication should not take it. Also, patients with myasthenia gravis should avoid this medication as it may exacerbate their symptoms. Since this medication contains lactose, individuals with a genetic disorder that prevents lactose digestion should not take it. This medication should be used with caution in the following patients: Individuals with a history of drug allergies need to be careful. If taken with other medications that have similar effects, side effects may occur, thus it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
