This medication helps to control abdominal bloating and spasmodic diarrhea symptoms caused by intestinal gas. How to take
Adult dose
The initial dose is 2 tablets chewed with water, and if diarrhea persists, take 1 tablet chewed with water. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 tablets in a day.
Child dose
Children aged 12 and above: the initial dose is 2 tablets chewed with water, and if diarrhea persists, take 1 tablet chewed with water. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 tablets in a day. For children aged 9-11 years:
Precautions
This medication should not be used in patients with a high fever of 38 degrees Celsius or higher, or in those showing blood in stools or mucus in stools. Additionally, individuals who have had allergic reactions or rashes from this medication should not take it. If the medication needs to be taken for more than two days, or if the patient is taking antibiotics, has a history of liver disease, is pregnant or breastfeeding, or has a history of abnormal heart rhythms, they must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If serious gastrointestinal issues such as acute pancreatitis occur during medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. In case of overdose, constipation or central nervous system suppression symptoms may occur, and in severe cases can lead to heart rhythm abnormalities or death, so do not exceed the prescribed dosage. If an overdose is suspected, administer activated charcoal to reduce drug absorption and monitor for central nervous system suppression symptoms for more than 24 hours with gastric lavage if necessary. If central nervous system suppression occurs, administer an antidote called Naloxone and carefully monitor if symptoms recur thereafter. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. It is also important not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
