Precautions

This medication should be carefully administered to individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, as it may cause liver damage; consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is mandatory. This medication contains acetaminophen; caution is advised to avoid exceeding the maximum daily dose when used together with other products containing acetaminophen, as it may put a strain on the liver. Individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or related drugs, or who have experienced asthma symptoms after taking this medication or similar medications, should not take it. If during use, symptoms such as hives, swelling, chest tightness, shortness of breath, or fever with skin rashes or blisters appear, discontinue the medication immediately and consult medical personnel. Particular caution should be exercised for those taking barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol, as this may slow down the metabolism of acetaminophen and increase the risk of hepatotoxicity. Patients with severe liver or kidney diseases and a history of drug allergies should use this medication cautiously. If symptoms of allergies appear, such as hives, itching, skin rash, bleeding, or angioedema, treatment should be stopped. If symptoms of liver dysfunction occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor's consultation is necessary. Occasionally, gastrointestinal disturbances or gastrointestinal bleeding, drowsiness, dizziness, headaches, and excessive excitability may occur, so caution is advised. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should only take this medication when the benefits of treatment are deemed to outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Caution should be taken when using this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, as interactions may occur. Lastly, it is important to keep this medication out of the reach of children and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and not to transfer it to other containers.
