Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses, or due to animals. It should also be avoided in individuals with allergies to this medication or its components. It is advisable not to use it in cases of otitis externa with a perforated eardrum. It should not be applied to areas with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite on the skin. It is safe to avoid use in patients with dermatitis around the mouth, common acne, rosacea, and non-inflammatory pruritus. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant and nursing mothers should use this medication cautiously. Special attention is necessary for children under 2 years of age and the elderly. Using this medication may lead to skin infections, and local reactions such as skin irritation, itching, rash, redness, and pustular reactions may occur. Prolonged use may lead to side effects such as thinning of the skin or dilation of blood vessels, so the dosage should be gradually reduced. This medication can be absorbed systemically and may affect hormone function; therefore, when used extensively or under occlusive dressings, blood tests should be conducted to monitor the condition. If symptoms improve during use, it should be discontinued as soon as possible, and if symptoms worsen or do not improve, it must be stopped immediately. During pregnancy, it may affect the fetus, so it should only be used at the minimum dose and duration necessary. During breastfeeding, care should be taken as the medication may be transmitted to the baby. Children are at a higher risk of excessive absorption due to thinner skin, so long-term use should be avoided, especially in areas similar to occlusive dressing, such as the diaper area. Elderly individuals are at a higher risk of side effects, so careful observation is required for large or prolonged use. In case of excessive use, systemic side effects may occur, and proper management should be done according to the physician's instructions. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, and it is recommended not to apply it to areas other than for therapeutic use, such as after makeup or shaving. When using, do not use under occlusive dressings without medical supervision, and particular caution should be taken for facial areas as skin atrophy may easily occur from prolonged use. Keep it out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
