Precautions

This medicine should not be used by patients who are allergic to certain ingredients or proteins. Rarely, symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, corneal damage, and foreign body sensation may occur, and in severe cases, discharge or pain in the eye may develop. If such symptoms appear, use should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment should be sought. Additionally, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so if these symptoms occur, the use of the medication should be stopped and a doctor should be consulted. When used with other eye drops, adverse reactions may occur more frequently, so it is necessary to use this medication with at least a 30-minute interval from other eye drops. This medication is for use in the eyes only, and care must be taken to avoid contact of the tip of the container with eyelids or eyelashes. Otherwise, contamination of the medication may occur, reducing its effectiveness. The preservative benzalkonium chloride may adhere to soft contact lenses, so it should not be used while wearing lenses, and lenses can only be worn at least 15 minutes after instillation. To prevent contamination of the medicine, it is advisable not to share it with others. This medicine should be kept out of the reach of children; it is best stored in a cool place, protected from direct sunlight. Finally, do not transfer the medication to other containers; it should be stored in the original container to prevent misuse and maintain quality.
