Precautions
This medication should not be used by those allergic to this medication or its ingredients. Infants under 12 months or patients with severe renal dysfunction should also avoid this medication. During the use of this medication, do not take phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and drugs like levodopa together. Those receiving medical treatment or individuals with oxalate kidney stones, cardiac or circulatory issues, renal impairments, hypoalbuminemia, gout, or kidney stones must consult with a specialist before taking this medication. It is also important for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, and young children to consult a doctor before taking this medication. This medication contains Yellow No. 5 and Yellow No. 203 pigments, so individuals allergic or hypersensitive to these components should use it cautiously. If any symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastrointestinal disturbances, hypotension, pulmonary edema, red spots on the skin, irregular heartbeats, or neurological function decline occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Long-term high-dose use may lead to tolerance, and extended high intake of pyridoxine may cause nerve damage. Moreover, patients with folate deficiency taking high doses of vitamin B12 may experience hematological adverse reactions. High-dosage administration can exacerbate peptic ulcers and provoke issues with blood glucose control or liver damage. Excessive intake may lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, heart failure, and edema, and should be approached with caution. Care should be taken when taken with antihyperaldosteronism agents or triamterene, as this may increase blood potassium levels. Consult a professional if symptoms do not improve even after excessive use or continued use for more than one month. Adhere strictly to the prescribed usage and dosage, as this medication may affect urinalysis results and may cause urine to turn yellow. It is advisable to avoid tannin-containing teas such as green tea and black tea before and after consumption of this medication. Store this medication out of reach of children, and keep it tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not transfer to a different container.
