This medication is used for secondary symptoms caused by cerebrovascular deficits and degenerative or progressive organic psychosis. It improves symptoms such as memory loss, confusion, disorientation, decreased motivation and spontaneity, and reduced concentration.

How to take

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg of choline alfoscerate orally 2～3 times daily. Adjust the dose appropriately according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by patients with allergic reactions to this medicine or any of its components. Especially, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medicine. Nausea may occur when taking this medicine; if such symptoms arise, the dosage should be reduced. Moreover, gastrointestinal issues such as gastritis or digestive diseases may occur. It may affect the central nervous system, causing drowsiness, insomnia, irritability, and in severe cases, seizures or excessive motor behavior. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children. Also, transferring the medicine to another container may result in accidents or deterioration of the medicine's quality, so it is recommended to store it in its original container.
