Adult dose

Adults: Take 1 capsule once a day.

This medicine contains iron, and if ingested in large quantities by children under 6 years of age by mistake, it can cause serious poisoning and pose a life-threatening risk; therefore, it should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children. Also, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, infants under 12 months old, and those with specific diseases associated with iron metabolism should not take it. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic conditions should also avoid it. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take medications that may interact with it, such as phosphates, calcium salts, specific antibiotics (tetracycline), and antacids. Individuals with specific health conditions or those currently undergoing treatment must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. For example, this includes those with peptic ulcers, chronic enteritis, heart or kidney diseases, and hypoalbuminemia. If unusual symptoms such as hives, itching, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, or fever occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Taking a certain amount of vitamin B12 can cause blood abnormalities, and overdose may lead to symptoms such as nausea, edema, and heart failure, so caution is required. Also, if taken with certain diuretics, it may dangerously elevate blood potassium levels, so caution is advised. Be sure to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and it is recommended to avoid consuming tea with high tannin content, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Finally, it is important to store this medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container, and not to transfer it to another container, ensuring it is kept out of reach of children.

Drug interactions

Food interactions

This medication should be avoided with teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, during or around the time of dosing.

This medication may be sensitive to air and moisture, so it should be stored in a tightly sealed container. It is recommended to maintain the storage temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
