Efficacy & effects

Improvement in blood pressure control in essential hypertension through the combination of amlodipine and valsartan

  • Essential hypertension
View approved original text

This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with amlodipine or valsartan alone. This drug helps achieve more effective lowering and control of blood pressure by using both medications together. This reduces the risk of cardiovascular complications due to hypertension and improves overall health status. In other words, it complements inadequate blood pressure control provided by monotherapy. Such treatment can help manage blood pressure tailored to the patient's condition. Therefore, this medication is used for effective blood pressure control in essential hypertension.
