Improvement of gastric and duodenal ulcers (gastritis, excess gastric acid) and gastrointestinal symptoms
This drug is effective for gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastritis, and helps alleviate symptoms like heartburn, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching caused by excessive gastric acid. It neutralizes gastric acid through its antacid action, protecting the gastric mucosa and improving related symptoms.
1 g of Almagate should be taken 3 times a day, chewed orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
Children aged 12 and older should take 1 g of Almagate 3 times a day, chewed orally 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals. An additional dose may be taken before bedtime if needed.
This drug should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to this drug or its ingredients. Patients with Alzheimer's disease or hemorrhoids should also avoid using this drug. Patients with excessive fluid retention edema or those with pregnancy-induced hypertension should not take this drug. Those with diarrhea or gastrointestinal bleeding of unknown cause should avoid this drug. During the use of this drug, it should not be taken together with antibiotics of the tetracycline class. If other medications are being taken, it should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist, as this drug may affect the absorption or elimination of drugs. In particular, patients with poor kidney function should be cautious because magnesium or aluminum contained in this drug may accumulate in their bodies. Individuals with low physical strength or insufficient dietary intake, and those with malabsorption issues should consult with a specialist for long-term use as it may affect bone health. The elderly, patients with gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, and nursing mothers should consult with a specialist before taking this drug. If abnormal symptoms like constipation or diarrhea occur during use or if symptoms do not improve within two weeks, discontinue use immediately and consult with a specialist. This drug should be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and method, and when given to children, it should be supervised and guided by a guardian. The medication should be stored out of the reach of children, in its original container, avoiding direct sunlight, and kept in a cool, dry place.
Constipation, diarrhea

This drug should not be taken with tetracycline antibiotics. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if taken with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), ulcer treatments, digoxin, chlorpromazine, lansoprazole, prednisone, penicillin, quinolones, iron (Fe) preparations, or salicylates.
This drug should be stored in a tightly sealed container that is well-ventilated, ideally at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees. Proper storage helps maintain the drug's effectiveness over time.
