Improvement of gastric ulcers and gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, etc.)
This medication is used for the treatment of gastric ulcers and is effective in improving lesions such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling of the gastric mucosa. It particularly alleviates symptoms during acute exacerbations of acute and chronic gastritis and serves to protect the gastric mucosa. This helps restore the patient's gastric health and improve symptoms.
For rabeprazole, take 100 mg orally three times daily. For gastric ulcers, take in the morning, evening, and just before bedtime.
This medication should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to its ingredients. During the use of this medication, severe allergic reactions such as shock or anaphylaxis may occur infrequently; if symptoms arise, administration should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment should be received. Additionally, white blood cell or platelet counts may decrease, so it is important to periodically monitor blood status. Due to potential effects on liver function, administration should be discontinued if liver function test results are abnormal. Gastrointestinal symptoms may include dry mouth, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and nausea. If liver enzyme levels increase or if fever and rash occur, medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention should be sought. If changes in white blood cell or platelet counts are found during blood tests, administration should be stopped, and appropriate action should be taken. Other symptoms such as breast pain, palpitations, facial flushing, hair loss, and menstrual irregularities may occur, so if unusual symptoms arise, consulting a doctor is advised. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should carefully consider the risks and benefits of taking this medication, and breastfeeding women should avoid using it if possible. Safety in children or newborns has not been sufficiently confirmed, therefore caution is advised for use.
