This medication is used to treat hypertension and angina, particularly myocardial ischemia due to stable and variant angina. Additionally, it helps reduce the risk of hospitalization for angina and the associated risks of coronary artery revascularization in patients without heart failure or with a cardiac output of over 40% identified during recent angiography for coronary artery disease. In other words, it effectively manages cardiac-related symptoms and complications to improve patient health.
