This medication can cause dangerously low blood pressure if taken with nitrate medications or NO donors, so it must be discussed with a doctor. Patients with cardiovascular diseases should thoroughly check their heart condition before using this medication, and it is advisable not to use it if there are conditions that may pose a risk to the heart. This medication may temporarily lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels, so patients with underlying cardiovascular conditions should be especially cautious. Patients who have had severe arrhythmias, heart failure, unstable angina, hypotension, or hypertension within the past six months must consult a doctor before using this medication. If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours or is accompanied by pain, medical attention should be sought immediately, as untreated conditions may result in penile tissue damage and permanent erectile dysfunction. This medication may be dangerous for patients with certain heart conditions or impaired blood pressure control and should be used with caution. Patients taking certain medications such as ritonavir may experience substantially increased blood concentrations of this medication, necessitating dosage adjustments. Formulations containing aspartame should not be administered to patients with phenylketonuria, and the aspartame content is also limited. Patients with allergies to this medication or its components, those regularly taking nitrate medications, those with severe cardiovascular diseases, severely impaired liver or kidney function, patients under 18 years old, women, and those with certain eye diseases should not take this medication. Patients with penile deformities, bleeding disorders, elderly individuals, and those with diabetic retinopathy should use this medication cautiously, taking into account the potential for adverse reactions. Common side effects of this medication include headaches, flushing, dyspepsia, dizziness, visual disturbances, and more. If symptoms are severe or persistent, consult a doctor. Caution is needed when driving or operating machinery as visual disturbances or dizziness can occur. This medication may interact with other erectile dysfunction drugs or specific heart medications, so it is essential to consult healthcare professionals. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not use this medication, and its use is prohibited in children and adolescents.
