Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: 10 mg orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg can be taken orally once daily. Administer up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg orally once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If not resolved after 8 weeks, an additional 8 weeks of 10 mg or 20 mg can be given.

This medication is used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers and to relieve the symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. Additionally, it is applicable for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease and is used in combination with antibiotics for patients with gastrointestinal ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. It is also effective for hyperacidity due to Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Thus, it is widely used for various gastric diseases and helps improve patients' symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: 10 mg orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg can be taken orally once daily. Administer up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg orally once daily for 4 to 8 weeks.
