This medication is used for ulcers in the stomach and duodenum, erosive and ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease, and relief of its symptoms. It is also effective in long-term maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease and is used in combination with antibiotics for treating gastroenteric ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori. Moreover, it is used for the treatment of specific conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. This medication improves ulcers and related symptoms by inhibiting gastric acid secretion.

How to take

Adult dose

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Administer 10mg orally once daily; may be increased to 20mg once daily based on symptoms. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10mg or 20mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks; if no improvement after 8 weeks of treatment, an additional 8 weeks of 10mg or 20mg twice daily may be administered. Precautions
