This medication is used to relieve symptoms of heartburn and belching due to excessive stomach acid.

How to take

Adult dose

Individuals aged 16 and older can take 1 tablet (75mg) once, up to 2 tablets (150mg) per day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to its ingredients. If you have difficulty swallowing food or experience pain while swallowing, or if you have bloody vomit or bloody stools, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If heartburn symptoms persist for more than 3 months, or if they occur alongside dizziness, cold sweat, or fainting, consult with a healthcare professional. If you experience chest or shoulder pain while having difficulty breathing, or if chest pain occurs frequently, consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If you have unexpected weight loss, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals currently taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, those with a history of drug allergies, those with kidney or liver function issues, elderly individuals, and those with a history of acute porphyria should consult a healthcare professional before use. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding individuals, must consult healthcare professionals before use, since this medication may cross the placenta or be transmitted through breast milk. This medication may interact with other drugs, particularly certain anticoagulants or some medications, so caution is required when taken simultaneously. If symptoms worsen or persist, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, and it is advisable not to use this medication continuously for more than 14 days. Various side effects can occur when taking this medication, including allergic reactions, blood abnormalities, liver function issues, heart problems, gastrointestinal symptoms, neurological issues, muscle pain, and skin rashes, so if you experience any unusual symptoms, notify a healthcare professional immediately.
